The Bear Crawl
The Bear Crawl
Trammell's Health & Fitness Tips - Health, Fitness, Nutrition & Training Tips to Keep you Healthy and Motivated
With the bear crawl, which is widely used by strength coaches and football coaches nationwide, is a very effective exercise working on the quads, your lats, shoulders and also can work your hamstrings as well. I often utilize this technique with clients at Snap Fitness in Lake Oswego.
With the bear crawl you get in a football stance with your legs spread apart with your but high up in the air with your knees slightly bent.
Then you crawl about half speed like a bear working the quads, lats and shoulders.
Do about 3-6 sets resting about 30-60 seconds in between sets.
