Dumbell Bench Press On The Balance Ball

With doing bench press with a bar is great, especially if you go wider than usual which works your chest even more than the standard position on the bar marks. Studies have shown if you go like 1 inch more to the side, you will get better and a stronger chest results.

Also doing that, will work your shoulders more to and can be a risk for shoulder injury in the future as you get older. But even better is dumbell bench press on a bench because your shoulders are not so far out and you have to create balance with a dumbell in each arm.

But the best of them all is dumbell bench press on a balance ball which causes a lot of core strength and even more balance with a dumbell in each arm while pushing the dumbells.

You can also do one arm at a time on a balance ball going toward the middle while contracting your abs as well for max results. This is a great way to build a strong chest while switching it up from doing barbell bench all the time.
